The most discussed event in local music last week was the release of Shabazz Palaces’ first LP Black Up, also the innovative hip hop group’s first release on Sub Pop. They played two packed shows at Neumos to coincide with the release of Black Up and we were quite fortunate to have star photographer Suzi Pratt there at Friday night’s show with her SLR.
