This is quite cool. The fine people at Easy Street Records are giving $5 to the Vera Project for every end of year Top 10 list you send them. The Easy Street website says:
What are your top 10 records of 2011? Send us your lists and we will donate $5 to the Vera Project for each one we receive! Plus, we’ll post as many as possible on our website so the whole world can know about your excellent musical taste! Send your list today by e-mailing matt@easystreetonline.com with the subject line “My Top 10.” Thanks!
I’m not sure what the deadline is yet, but it would be a good idea to send it in sooner, rather than later, and pick up some great local albums on vinyl there while you’re at it.
UPDATE: Easy Street Records tweeted that the deadline is Friday, December 9 at 6pm.
