Win tickets to Seattle Folk Festival’s daytime concert

The Seattle Folk Festival kicks off on Friday with great shows all weekend long. It’s a showcase of some of the best in folk music from the Northwest and beyond.

The show I’m most excited for is the daytime concert at Columbia City Theater, which is a showcase of some of my favorite local folk artists. The lineup includes Youth Rescue Mission, Kevin Murphy of The Moondoggies, Goldfinch and Sons of Warren Oates, and will be headlined by fast-rising star Bryan John Appleby. It all takes place between the mainstage and Bourbon Bar at CCT on Saturday from noon to 6pm.

Even better, we have a pair of tickets to give away to one of our readers. If you’d like to be the said lucky winner, please send an e-mail to anotherrainysaturday@gmail.com by 9am on Thursday, December 8 with “FolkFest” in the subject line and one winner will be drawn at random and notified shortly thereafter.

The show’s details are (including ticket info, should you not want to leave it to change, or buy tickets for the whole weekend – which is a great deal):
