I had meant to post this new video from Seattle rock band Black Whales when it was brand new about two weeks ago, but a much-needed holiday break put all updates on the back burner. Anyway, Black Whales, an excellent rock band in Seattle, are headlining at Neumos tonight, so this is as good of time as any to post it.
This song has a nice “White Album”-era Beatles vibe to it, with a great psychedelic sound. The video, directed by Norhtwest artist Bobby McHugh, makes for a nice complement.
Black Whales plays at Neumos tonight, January 5, with Koko and the Sweetmeats and Us on Roofs, 21+, $8.
