In early 2012, one of the shows I’m most excited for is this tribute at Columbia City Theater to the legendary ladies of country music (think Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, etc…) on Saturday, January 14. It stars some of my favorite local singer-songwriters like Zoe Muth and Rachel Mae, plus The Brambles and Kaylee Cole and more. It’s billed as “a Johnny Cash-style variety show,” which sounds like a lot of fun.
Even more exciting is that we have a pair of tickets to give away to one of our lucky readers. It takes place next Saturday, January 14 at Columbia City Theater. If you’d like to go for free, please send an e-mail to anotherrainysaturday@gmail.com with “Honky Tonk Angels” in the subject line before 9am on Thursday, January 12. A winner will be drawn randomly and notified very shortly after that. The show is 21+, so please prepare to be able to prove that by the day of show.
