Rumor-mongering: Is Cody ChesnuTT playing the Sasquatch! announcement party on February 4? UPDATE: YES

I don’t engage in much rumor-mongering on this website, but I will here today. I put the question to Seattle Theater Group via Twitter last week whether or not Cody ChesnuTT is playing the Neptune on February 4. STG replied to me by saying “still plenty of time between now and the 4th for an official announcement to come through… ;)” Here’s why I think Mr. ChesnuTT is playing (likely headlining) the Sasquatch! announcement party, which has yet to be announced:

Cody ChesnuTT is playing at the Neptune on February 4. I confirmed this with his publicist who has sent out at one press release with the date listed. It is also on his FB page.
There is nothing yet announced on STG’s calendar for February 4 at the Neptune.
Last year’s Sasquatch! Launch Party (which featured Junip, The Physics and Matthew Caws ([of Nada Surf]) was on February 2, 2012 at the Neptune.

That’s all I have, but I can’t think of a better explanation.

{Update 1/21: My buddy Travis Hay of Guerrilla Candy confirmed this morning that the announcement party is scheduled for Feb. 4 and that the official word is expected later today.}
