I’ve written here approvingly of the new-ish Seattle pop rock band Tangerine (“The band has grown into a fine, summer fun band with some very catchy songs and one of the very good indie pop bands in Seattle”) and now the band has a new EP, its second, on the way at the end of August. The pertinent details are:
“Feel This Way” is the lead single off Tangerine’s upcoming second EP, Radical Blossom, which will be released on Swoon Records on Saturday, August 31st. Tangerine will be celebrating their EP release with a show at The Comet Tavern on Friday, September 6th.
I’m really excited to premiere this new single, “Feel This Way” on ARS. It’s a great pop song that feels like an old Beach Boys classic with a slow intro before picking up the tempo slightly. It has a romantic, wistful vibe and it’s very catchy.
Before the EP comes out, you can also see Tangerine on Thursday, August 1 at Therapy. Lounge (adjacent to Neighbours on Broadway) with The Hoot Hoots.
