Seattle dance pop band The Fascaination Movement has a great new single out called “Interaction.” It was just released, and it’s quite cool. It’s a seven minute song that reminds one of New Order and Daft Punk on first listen. It’s made for a dance floor with its emphasis on a consistent beat and some robotic vocals. Maybe the most impressive aspect of the song is the vocal appearance of legendary gospel and soul singer Pat Wright, who reportedly hasn’t sang on a single in over forty years.
You can download the single from Bandcamp for just $3.00 (and that includes two remixes). The next Fascination Movement show is on Friday, April 6 at Chop Suey with Housse De Racket and Gems.
