Initial Bumbershoot lineup unveiled, features Skrillex, Tony Bennett, Jane’s Addiction

The lineup for Bumbershoot was just released this morning. It features Tony Bennett, Skrillex, Jane’s Addiction and M83 and dozens more rocking in the free world at Seattle Center Labor Day weekend. I’m very intrigued by The Greenhornes with Eric Burdon (??) and about a dozen more. More artists are promised, as well. This is, by far, the best festival lineup in the Northwest in 2012.

Ward, The Jayhawks, The Helio Sequence, City and Colour, The Heavy, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, King Khan & The Shrines, Heartless Bastards, Oberhofer, Thee Satisfaction, Damien Jurado, JC Brooks and the Uptown Sound, Sera Cahoone, The Soul Rebels, Don’t Talk to the Cops!, Skerik’s Bandalabra, Alela Diane, The Barr Brothers, TacocaT, Unnatural Helpers, Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra, Polecat, Nude

  1. I had to blink the sleep out of my eyes a few times this morning when I read “Jane’s Addiction” on the press release. Lollapalooza 1991 flashback! :)
